Choosing a Muslim female gynae gave me the comfort, dignity, and reassurance I truly needed during a vulnerable time. I was recently admitted to Columbia Asia Hospital – Setapak, and I am truly grateful for the excellent care I received throughout my stay. My admission was under Dr. Nurliyana Abd Razak, who was the main reason I chose this hospital. As a Muslim woman, having a Muslim female gynae was very important to me. Dr. Nurliyana is calm, professional, and very reassuring. She explained my condition clearly and guided me with patience and care, which gave me great confidence and peace of mind. During my procedure, Dr. Ganesh was my anaesthetic doctor. He provided clear explanations and practical advice beforehand, which helped me feel safe and mentally prepared. I would also like to sincerely thank Dr. Sindhu Girish Chandran, who assisted in diagnosing my long-standing headache issue. After struggling with it for such a long time, I am truly thankful for her thorough assessment and commitment in identifying the root cause. Special appreciation as well to the nurses at MD1 and all the nursing staff who provided warm, attentive, and professional care during my admission. Their kindness and responsiveness made my stay much more comfortable. The hospital environment is peaceful and well-maintained, which supported my recovery journey. Overall, I highly recommend this hospital for their competent doctors, compassionate nurses, and high-quality medical care.

Our experience at Columbia Asia Hospital Setapak was very satisfactory. My wife had a Cesarean section, and we were admitted to Ward MD1 for 4 days and 3 nights. Special thanks to Dr. Nurliyana (O&G), Dr. Rajesh (Anesthesiologist), and Dr. Ng Kar Jin (Paediatrician) for their expertise, clear explanations, and professional service throughout the treatment. We also extend our gratitude to all the staff nurses and sisters in the Labour Room, OT, and Ward MD1 who were very caring, friendly, helpful, and always ensured our comfort.
