Prof. Dr. Azmi B. Md Nor is a distinguished Professor of Surgery and Senior Consultant Colorectal Surgeon with extensive expertise in general and colorectal surgery. He is recognized for his focus on colorectal cancer, fistula-in-ano, haemorrhoids, and pelvic floor disorders. A leader in his field, he has held significant academic and administrative roles, including Dean of the Kulliyyah of Medicine at IIUM. His contributions extend to pioneering research, such as AI-assisted colonoscopy for polyp detection, and he has published extensively on complex surgical cases.
