Dr. Khoo Boo Aik is a highly respected Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist at Sunway Medical Centre, bringing a wealth of experience and international training to the care of children and newborns. Dr. Khoo earned his medical degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and further solidified his expertise by becoming a Member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in the United Kingdom. This prestigious UK qualification underscores his commitment to meeting the highest standards of paediatric care. To further advance his specialisation in the care of newborns, Dr. Khoo undertook extensive overseas training in Australia. He served as a Senior Neonatal Registrar at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney and as a Neonatal Fellow at the Royal Hospital for Women, also in Sydney. This valuable experience in first-world healthcare systems has equipped him with advanced skills in neonatal intensive care and the management of complex conditions affecting premature and critically ill infants. Before joining Sunway Medical Centre, Dr. Khoo served as a consultant paediatrician and neonatologist at Sungai Buloh Hospital. He is also dedicated to medical education, holding a position as a lecturer in paediatrics and neonatology at Monash University Malaysia.
