Dato' Dr. Abu Yamin Khamis is a pioneering Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Malaysia with over two decades of experience and more than 6,000 procedures. He is renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, having developed novel techniques for valve repair and redo surgeries. His skills extend to coronary artery surgery, heart failure management, and endoscopic vein harvesting. As an Adjunct Professor and senior supervisor for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he is dedicated to training future surgeons and advancing cardiothoracic services through innovative research, including the analysis of PRP in myocardial stimulation.
