Dr. Krishnan Raman is a distinguished Consultant General and Hepatobiliary Surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, renowned for his expertise in Hepato-Pancreatic Biliary (HPB) Surgery, advanced endoscopy, and laparoscopic techniques. He was part of the pioneering team for Malaysia's first public hospital liver transplant and has a strong legacy in medical education, including 13 years of advanced endoscopy workshops. His innovative work in Endoscopic Ultrasound earned an award at the American Society of Gastroenterology. With 15 years of training HPB surgeons and holding leadership roles at UKM Medical Centre, including Head of HPB and Pancreatic Surgery and Deputy Director (Surgical Services), Dr. Raman is a Professor in his field, actively contributing to research and scientific activities across the Asia Pacific.
