On Oct 14, I went to see Gastroenterologist and told Dr Hew I had diarrhea and upper abdomen was having pain like 24/7 for 1 week and he explained it sounds more like I have muscle pain or digestive problem but nothing serious. He refused to do an Endoscopy for me because I am still young 25 year old should be no problem with the stomach. A total about 8 mins of consultation and he DID NOT even touch my belly for checking during the whole process and kept saying it was just a small problem. So I left with pain and no medicine still had no idea what causes it. The pain was getting worse and few days later I was diagnosed with Gastritis in Mohkota Malacca. And I have a much better experience and treatment here in Mahkota.

Extremely bad experience with Regency hospital! I brought my mum to see stomach issue but the doctor ask to ultrasound check on liver, kidney, else organ. I give 1 star because 1) Explained stomach got issue, priority for checking not done on stomach but checked for others. End up told us ultra-sound for those organ found no issue. 2) Standard procedure I understood doctor should do pre-check on patient body for any pain or symptoms to determine what medical screening to do. This was not done, the doctor just see the laptop screen and ask questions and go for ultrasound 3) I said to doctor I will complained about his service but he said just go ahead. (act like don't care) 4) I complained to their management. The customer service came down and asked for details. Days' investigation and explained endoscopic for stomach take time can be arranged later. Those organ(possible linked) test easier and faster to check so doctor decided to do first. (why I need to pay for no issue organ inspection?) I tried to escalate further to their management but they kept silent and no response after 3 weeks. Lastly who I met: Dr: Hew Choong Fu CS: Hidayah I had brought my mum to other hospital which act in more professional!!! I also stop my annual medical screening package, my wife's medical review and look for other better options.

**Extremely Dissatisfied – Negligent Care at Regency Hospital (Dr. Hew Choong Fu)** I visited Regency Hospital last week after suffering from recurring stomach pain. Despite presenting my previous medical records (including an endoscopy from last year), Dr. Hew Choong Fu dismissed my concerns, insisting I was "fine" and only arrange me an ultrasound. I was sent home to wait for results the next day—with no immediate treatment, even though I emphasized the severity of my pain and the fact that I had traveled far (taxi fare: RM 190) for the appointment. The next day, the doctor called to inform my Ultrasound report but offered no further action plan, just a rushed call before hanging up. When I requested a referral for proper treatment (if this was beyond his expertise), he initially refused. Only after I insisted—and frankly, lost my patience—did he reluctantly issue an internal referral. That next night at 2 AM, my pain became unbearable, forcing me to seek help at another hospital. There, doctors immediately identified the issue and scheduled me for surgery. Final thoughts: - Wasted RM 979 for a consultation that felt below clinic-level care—just an ultrasound and painkillers. - Zero urgency or patient advocacy—my pain was ignored until I escalated. - No proper follow-up plan, forcing me to seek emergency care elsewhere. - Wasted my taxi fare & time If you value timely, competent medical attention, think twice before choosing Regency Hospital. If you have phone recorded, please listen back the conversation from Dr Hew to me.

When i called the emergency line, they said there are plenty of beds around. When i arrived the ER was almost empty. And the doctor was having a sore throat as well and whatever he said, not each words are clear. Please go to other hospitals if you can because just to top their weaknesses, their foods are really not great. Some doctors are so arrogant and dismissive like Dr Hew
