Dr Kamarajan Ramayah

Dr. Kamarajan Ramayah is a Specialist in General Surgery with a sub-specialty in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery. He earned his MBBS from the International Medical University (IMU) in 2002 and completed his Master of Surgery (MSurg) at the University of Malaya in 2013. To further specialise in liver, pancreas, and bile duct surgeries, he underwent fellowship training in HPB surgery at Addenbrooke’s, Cambridge, UK. At UMSC and the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Dr. Kamarajan manages complex HPB cases, including diseases of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and biliary tract. His international fellowship, combined with his years in surgical practice, equips him to handle advanced operations with precision and care. He speaks Malay, English, and Tamil, which helps in communicating effectively with a broad range of patients. With his strong formal training, overseas fellowship exposure, and current role at a leading tertiary/quaternary centre, Dr. Kamarajan Ramayah is well-placed to deliver trustworthy, high-quality surgical care for patients needing HPB and general surgery.
