Dr Chew Bee See

Dr. Chew Bee See is a highly skilled Anatomic Pathologist and Uropathologist at Sunway Medical Centre in Penang. She specializes in the diagnosis of diseases through the examination of tissues and organs. Her expertise includes interpreting histopathology cases, including specialized stains and molecular tests (DDISH HER2, PD-L1, MMR), and performing and interpreting Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC). Dr. Chew's focus areas encompass Anatomic Pathology, Genitourinary Pathology, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, and Molecular Pathology, along with performing Frozen Sections during surgery. She earned her MBBS from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1998 and a Doctor of Pathology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2017. She is also a Fellow in Uropathology. Dr. Chew has received multiple awards for her excellent service, speaks multiple languages (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese, and Bengali) and has experience in Clinical Research. She contributes to quality assurance in laboratory practices as a Technical Assessor for Anatomic Pathology for Medical Laboratory Testing Accreditation.
