I have heard many negative reviews but I only have praises for the hospital. Last year, my wife gave birth to our baby at the Hospital. Her gynae, Dr. Nurhazinat is a very attentive and kind doctor who spent her time listening carefully to our questions and advised us on what to do and what not to do. During delivery (c-sec), I was allowed into the OT and I could see how professional the doctors and nurses inside the OT were. Now, we have our regular baby check-up at Thomson too and the paed, Dr See BT is a great doctor who always give us suggestions and attend to our queries. Yes, the hospital has a lot of patients (which make it feels like a government hospital - but which private hospital nowadays doesn't?) but if we have courtesy to others, they will attend to us with courtesy too and so far, the service, for me is very good.

This is the third time staying here and I prefer Thomson hospital over any other hospital because of the service from all departments except the admission & billing side. For my third stay, I received approval from the doctor that my son can discharge at 11AM. However I waited and waited. Until the moment I had to go down to the main counter to ask for the status at 2PM. Funny that the staff don't even know where they put my son's file and I had to wait for almost 30 mins. Then at 4.30PM received a call from the Billing side saying that they just submitted the case to my insurance. My question is why does it took until 4.30pm for you to submit the case? I was finally discharged at 8PM because they had to wait from the insurance side to confirm with the billing. But I don't blame my insurance for being late, because they received the case from the hospital at 4.30PM. In which my insurance should have receive the case at a much earlier time since we were told that we can discharge at 11AM. Plus the hospital expect me to add another 1k of deposit if I want to discharge without waiting for the process. Very very disappointed. However, kudos to Dr See, Dr Elang and all nurses at ward 5C for taking care of my son.
