Don’t let them know you have insurance. I was treated by a doctor Shamala during my trip to KL. This doctor never told me what happened to my eye exactly, whether it’s serious or not, what I need to do — she just kept asking me to come back the next day and every time I was dragged into 3+ hours bloody tests! After two days, I refused to go back on Day 3. When I returned to HK, I went to see a local doctor and brought all the test papers from Prince Court with me — they were shocked, to say the least. This hospital and the doctor there didn’t care about you. They only viewed you as a source of income. They don’t care about wasting your holiday time, don’t care if you are worried sick about your condition while they keep the suspense and make you come back and they don’t care how draining to make you have 3 hrs test in one go. They charged me more than 1200 USD for an abrasion of the cornea — the eye ball and the retina were intact. And they intended to milk more in day 3 and day 4… Just sink in this number and how greedy and immoral they are as medical professionals.
