Dr. Vijaya B Ramasamy

Dr. Vijaya B Ramasamy is a highly distinguished consultant in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Island Hospital, with extensive training and experience in the United Kingdom. He earned his medical degree from the University of Dundee in the UK and subsequently achieved several prestigious qualifications, including Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (London). Dr. Vijaya completed his specialist training in Nephrology and Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Wales and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, obtaining a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in both specialties in the UK. Before returning to Penang, Dr. Vijaya served as a Consultant Nephrologist and Physician in the UK, where he was the Clinical Lead for acute kidney injury services for North Wales and the lead nephrologist for living donor kidney transplantation.
