Wifi ID: guest, Wifi PW: guest Dr. Teh Chee Ming is the only child specialist in Penang, who has specialty in nerve field. He is a consultant paediatrician & paediatric neurologist located at Level 5, room 5-003. Be sure to consult him if your baby / toddler has unusual symptom. The nurses are friendly too.

This is the 2nd time i disappointed. I arrived at Island Hospital Penang at 6:00 AM and waited in a long queue at the kiosk machine. After patiently waiting until 7:15 AM, I finally reached the machine only to find that Dr. Teh Chee Ming, whom I was scheduled to see, was not listed in the system. When I approached the customer service counter for help, I was told to queue up manually instead. It wasn’t just me—many other patients some even queue up at 5.30am were facing the same issue and were just as frustrated. I honestly don’t see the point of having a queue number system if it doesn’t function properly, and patients still need to manually queue afterward. This lack of coordination and poor customer service has made the experience unnecessarily stressful for everyone involved. Island Hospital seriously needs to improve its management and customer service to avoid these frustrating situations in the future.

After some time searching for a doctor at Penang Hospital for our non-verbal child, we finally found a pediatric neurologist at Island Hospital. We made an appointment to see Dr. Teh Chee Ming with Nurse Alia. The nurse was very helpful to us. We chatted via WhatsApp from Indonesia to ask for help in getting a doctor's consultation letter, and Nurse Alia was willing to assist us. She was also very responsive to any questions we had. Similarly, during the consultation with Dr. Teh Chee Ming, the doctor examined our child, provided a detailed overview of the child's development, and then we were advised to undergo several tests. After the lab results came out, the doctor also gave a detailed explanation of our child's lab results. Thank you very much, Nurse Alia and Dr. Teh Chee Ming. ❤️❤️❤️
