I visited this hospital at Dec 30th, 2025, and took my father to control his vocal cord. I met Dr. Gan Boon Chye as ENT specialist. He was so nice and very friendly, detailed explanation. The hospitality of the nurses at 8's ward were so incredible too. Next time, I will come again to this hospital. Thank you for the best hospitality and service, Island Hospital Penang.

Dr. Gan Boon Chye is very professional and attentive. He explains clearly and genuinely cares for his patients. Truly appreciate his dedication and kindness. Highly recommended! Nurse Deborah Cheah (Clinic Dr. Vanessa) is also very kind and helpful. She’s always patient and caring, making every visit comfortable.

I had few unusual nose bleeding in past few days. Went to consult ENT specialist Dr.Gan Boon Chye and found out it is just a ruptured blood vessel. The entire visit including consultation, nasal scope, nasal cautery took about 30minits. It was fast and efficient.
