My 1st day here was stressful due to an irresponsible neighbour (2 bedded-room sharing) but things turned into an almost perfect stay for us. We are grateful for Mr Mani to assure us of better service which he did, wonderfully. A big thanks to this team here and we like what we saw here. You have win us over. Normally hospital food is rather bland and unassuming, but not in this hospital. Their chef has acknowledged our feedback concerning 'heavily salted' and since then, the meals are absolutely tasty, flavourful and we were just shocked that it comes out so well. Another round of applause to the Catering Team for whipping up Five Star Western Meals on a daily basis, which is our favourite! Just wished this hospital to be consistent in your service for all upcoming patients and your team-members is key to your success. Do take care of your young workforce. A big thanks to - Mr Mani, Puan Siti, Ms Ranveer, MD6 team, Catering Team, Housekeeping Team for ensuring our bins and toilet is cleaned. Cannot name so many names here but in my letter of gratitude to Mr Mani has said it all. I will be back to check on you guys! To the HR Team, pls reward the Nursing Team of MD6. Their hard work deserves a big pat on their already heavy shoulder. Once again, fullest respect and love to Dr Khoo for your wonderful work. Thank you to Dr Tan (anaesthesia) for your right dosage and excellent intubing to a patient with thyroid. No pain at all once woken up from op. Another expert in this hospital. To the other Dr Nagapan (anaesthesia), your assessment of her thyroid and explanation prior surgery was very well explained despite the nervousness during surgery day. But, you did it! Hooray! Thanks to all, we are leaving here after 4 nights and will miss your smiles and friendliness. God Bless!

My mom had bloated stomach for 2 weeks which we were led to believe that it was gastrointestinal related issue via multiple visits to our neighborhood clinic. Not until we have decided to consult Asst Prof Dr Hoo (internal medicine, neurology) who are able to help us to identify the real cause (ascites caused by abnormal mass near ovary) via ultrasound followed by CT scan within 48 hrs (we went to the hospital on Saturday). We were immediately referred to Gyne-Oncologist Dr Khoo at the same hospital to proceed with next course of action (review below). Thanks Dr Hoo for the fast turnaround time on patient's diagnosis, this has saved us valuable time in making crucial decisions and to take next course of action. Eventually my mom had performed Laparotomy hysterectomy, removal of both ovarian tumour and fallopian tubes, omentectomy and tumour debunking at Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil. Our primary care Doctor is Dr Khoo Boom Ping (Obestetrics & Gynecology, Gyne-Oncologist), the surgery conducted by Dr Khoo and his team went smoothly and successful, my mom was able to recover within expected time frame under the careful planning and execution by Dr Khoo. Upon completion of surgery, my mom was admitted to WDU for the first 2 days, the nurses are very caring and attentive in making sure that my mom is always under a stable condition 24/7 - thanks to Pavita, Emelda, Rachel. Subsequently my mom was transferred to the general ward for continued monitoring and recovery. Again, high compliments to the nursing staff who took really good care of my mom day and night. Special shout out to Izzah, Hamiza, Hana they are all very kind, attentive and hardworking, one can observed that this is a standard they have maintained across the board. It has been a very good experience overall and my mom is very happy for the care she had received and the professional management of her case. High compliments to the team at Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil, also taking this opportunity to thank Dr Khoo and his team (pre ops and post ops) which included Dr Thiagu (radiology), Dr Gayethri (internal medicine), Dr Affiq (Anesthesiology), Dr Ruhi Fadzlyana (General Surgery & Colorectal Surgery) and all nursing staff involved to ensure my mom's recovery. We will continue to consult Dr Khoo on our next phase of treatment. Not forget to mention, as a self-paying customer, we had also received a senior citizen discount in kind for my mom's bill arranged via finance manager Miss Ruz Diana. It's a kind effort by the top management and the hospital and we appreciate this. I sincerely hope that the top management will look at our review and feel proud of this great team at CAH Bukit Jalil. If there is anything we wish that the hospital could improve - that would be the meal choices as my mom is a vegetarian, we hope that there can be more variety and choices for vegetarian/vegan patients in the future.
