“When you discover excellence, it should be promoted and celebrated"...An Expats personal experience at Pantai Hospital On the day of my admission to Pantai hospital KL for Inguinal hernia surgery I was beside myself with apprehension and anxiety, but this was gently eased by the warm smiles and reassuring words of the hospital admission staff, who welcomed me with genuine care and professionalism. My goodness, I had made it to 70 and this was my first admission to hospital. Later that evening, supporting anaesthetist Dr Lim Kin Yuee played a crucial role in further alleviating my fears by explaining the anaesthesia process and what I could expect before, during, and after the surgery. Being 70 signalled extra precaution for both Dr Meheshinder and Dr Lim so they engaged cardiologist Dr Ernest Ng Wee Oon to check my heart health early the next morning before surgery that afternoon just to be sure. After surgery I was moved to ward C6, a close monitoring recovery ward where I was surrounded by a team of 25 nurses and support staff working seamlessly together with precision and empathy. The post-operative care I received was nothing short of exceptional. The nurses were beyond vigilant and caring. I must especially thank staff nurse Maria pictured here who tirelessly sat at the foot of my bed for long shifts so she could immediately respond should something go wrong. Now 8 months after my procedure I remain immensely grateful for the professionalism, skill, and the dedication of Dr Meheshinder, his medical team and the 25 sisters, nurses and support staff from Pantai Hospital’s ward C6 .

I recently underwent surgery at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur (PHKL) and received nothing short of first-class treatment throughout my experience. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my Gynaecologist surgeon, Dr. Paul Ng Hock Oon, for his exceptional care and professionalism—from the very first consultation right up to my successful surgery. His calm demeanor and clear communication gave me great confidence and comfort 😊. A special thank you as well to Dr. Lim Kin Yuee (Dr Lim KY) the Anaesthesiologist, for his attentive care and excellent administration throughout the operation. I truly appreciated the reassurance and support given to me before, during, and after the procedure. I was particularly impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the Pharmacy team. Despite it being a public holiday with only two staff members on duty, they managed the medication dispensation smoothly and without delay. Kudos to the team 👍. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the Staff Nurse Ina from the HDU, whose kindness, attentiveness, and gentle care made a big difference in my recovery. Her comforting presence truly stood out during my stay. Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with the level of service, care, and professionalism at PHKL. Everything went smoothly, and I am grateful to all the staff involved. I will definitely recommend Pantai Hospital KL as my first choice for healthcare.

Im so appreciative of midwife Maria and Gurjeet who really talked me through the whole process during my first time birth. They made me feel so comfy and helped me push thru telling me Im doing such a good job eventho at times I know Im not bit it really motivated me more. 😭 Nurse Nik was also nice and comforted me at night. Special thanks to Dr Idora (obgyn) for also being so calm and making sure I was as well. 🥹 i I couldnt have done it without them and the grace of God. Thanks also dr Lim (anaesthesiologist) for explaining thoroughly the procedure and ensuring I was comfortable the whole time before i got my epidural. The nurses at the maternity ward was also so so nice. Im a first time mum so i was really clueless but theyre so helpful and non judgemental, really a baby friendly and breastfeeding hospital. Thank u nurse gayathri, amrina, zati , amuja and many more 😭💖🤱🏻 me and baby are forever grateful. Special shoutout to the funniest and and most comforting lactation consultant nurse banu too for all the tips and helping me breastfeed! Dear Pantai, pls give them a raise 😂 they are so good dont lose them!! Will be recommending to my friends who are first time mums to come here. The only drawback is they only have one maternity suite 😭 but plenty of single rooms, but we were lucky we got the suite.
