The cashier on the 2nd floor named Tina provided very poor service. The oncology doctor informed us that all billing would be settled on the same day. However, the cashier from Island Hospital refused to register my wife for a blood test because there was an outstanding bill due to a price discrepancy. The service at Island Hospital was extremely disappointing, and we will be moving to Gleneagles Hospital for better service and hospitality. Please note that the outstanding bill was a small amount of MYR 935 and was already guaranteed by Dr. Mohamad Amir Shah.

My first visit to Island Hospital was on February 4, 2025, to accompany my sibling for treatment. I was already disappointed with the service, especially the doctor's assistants. Dr. Amir Shah was not very friendly. We are paying for this hospital, it's not free, and the service doesn't match the cost. Secondly, during an emergency in the ER, we weren't treated immediately and had to wait. The standby nurses were also insufficient. The doctor himself was okay and recommended, but without the support of good assistants and nurses, the results cannot be maximized. My suggestion, especially to the management or owners of Island Hospital, is to serve patients with maximum care, friendliness, and full responsibility, so that you can achieve good results and ratings. I hope this is the hope of patients seeking treatment at this hospital. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
