My experience with my wife... Prof. Dr. Tajunisah Iqbal was very good and the service was top-notch. However, the payment counter staff were very arrogant and had no smiles. My wife had an appointment on 21/5/2022, and the UM staff told us to come in the morning. The problem was when I arrived, my appointment was not in the records, and I was passed around like a ball. Fortunately, by chance, Dr. Prof. Tajunisah Iqbal arrived as I was there and apologized to me because of the new system. I wasted too much time. My matter was resolved quickly because the nurse on the 2nd floor, room 11, came down to resolve my case. The staff in room 23 immediately took my case and settled it until I could see the doctor, and they immediately apologized. I initially paid a deposit of RM200 at Counter 8, which was initially arrogant towards my wife, but suddenly became nice when they knew they were wrong. After my business was finished, I went to Counter 22 on the 2nd floor to make an appointment and requested the RM200 deposit back because my case was under GL insurance. The staff informed me that I had to wait for the insurance to make the payment to the hospital before they would refund the deposit, without the payment counter staff downstairs (C.8) explaining this. I am also unsure how long it will take to get the deposit back. Please improve the service. This is the first time I've seen something like this. The staff are neat and beautiful, but the service is ruined.

I usually accompany my father for eye treatment with Dr Tajunisa. As a doctor, she is highly knowledgeable and an excellent doctor. The typical eye injection process is as follows:- Appoinment at 11.30 am, Injection by 1 or 1.30 pm, another 30 minutes waiting for bill, and if there is medicine, we have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes. So its a 2.30 to 3 hours process. However, today waiting for medicine alone is 1 hour, where as the nurse blamed the pharmacy and vice versa. After accompanying my father for several time for his treatment at UMSC, I can only make the following conclusion:- Doctor - Excellent and highly knowledgeable Services - Very poor and lack of empathy towards elderly patients. It is sad that such center made their elderly patients wait for hours like a herd of cows. For the amount that UMSC charged their patient, the services does not tally.
