I’ve been to this hospital for many years accompanying my family member who undergoes cancer treatment. The cancer centre team here and Dr. Tan Meng Kuan are simply amazing and attentive in their care. I did my first ultrasound here in Tung Shin just recently and I have to give a shout out to Dr. Kasthoori Jayarani (radiologist) for being so friendly, gentle and attentive. She helped ease my worries and anxiety.

The radiologist - Dr Kasthoori Jayarani is very careless and not precise when interpreting patients ultrasound images. She totally omitted my in born condition of having a left extrarenal pelvis in all the previous years report since 2022. I was confused when I began to compare the ultrasound analysis of the latest report with the old ones and noticed the following different interpretation. 2024 report printed as : -Kidneys are in normal size and echogenicity. -Left extrarenal pelvis noted. Left ureter is not dilated. -No calculus or any masses is seen in either kidney. Previous year reports printed as: -Kidneys are in normal size and echogenicity. -No renal mass, calculus or hydronephrosis is seen. I went to another private hospital in KL and did another round of ultrasound to double confirm. During the ultrasound session, the radiologist told me that a left extrarenal pelvis is a in born condition, one cannot suddenly develop this condition overnight. Upon the analysis, she confirmed with me that I indeed really have left extrarenal pelvis.
