Dr Max Hu Chuen-Wei

Dr. Max Hu Chuen-Wei is a highly qualified Medical Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Sunway Medical Centre in Malaysia, with over 15 years of experience. He completed his medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Glasgow, UK, in 2008 and has extensive postgraduate training in the UK. This includes a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Gastroenterology & General Internal Medicine, Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. He is also listed on the National Specialist Register of Malaysia. His expertise lies in a range of endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), with a track record of over 3,200 endoscopic procedures performed as of 2019. He is proficient in multiple languages, including English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien.
