Professor Dr Dharmendra Ganesan

Professor Dr. Dharmendra Ganesan is a highly distinguished Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at UM Specialist Centre, recognized for his exceptional expertise in neurosurgery, complex spinal problems, and paediatric neurosurgery. As one of Malaysia's few paediatric neurosurgeons, he brings a rare and critical specialization to the care of children, from newborns to teenagers. His reputation for excellence is built on a foundation of premier international training at some of the world's most prestigious medical institutions. Professor Dr. Ganesan completed his neurosurgical clinical training and a specialized fellowship in Complex Spine at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom. To further hone his skills in paediatric neurosurgery, he undertook visiting fellowships at world-renowned centres of excellence, including Great Ormond Street in London, Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris, and Montefiore Children's Hospital in New York.
