Went to see ENT specialist for tonsilitis diagnosis. Dr Ong. This guy is a crook. Went for consultation, paid in advance. He put a camera in my throat as soon as I sat down and then demanded I pay another RM 400 as he had apparently done a procedure. I objected to paying as he did not tell me he was about to do a procedure let alone its cost as I would think its all part of the consultation. Then he harassed me. Personally called me repeatedly. Left voicemail trying to threaten me. Seriously avoid. By the way, a day before a different doctor asked me to open mouth and after flashing a light he told me I have tonsillitis. This hospital does procedures just to make money. I refused to pay, they can threaten me all they like, i am considering taking them to court for harassment and fraud.

We had to visit this hospital due to a very advanced ear infection. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who guided us through what seemed, at first glance, complete chaos, was overwhelming. Our ENT doctor, Dr. Herg, was incredibly qualified and friendly.

Sharing my own experience with Dr. Michael Herg. Seems like he is known for his problematic dismissive attitude based on what I see from other reviews here. I saw him about a month ago at Tung Shin Hospital for a sinus issue. I requested for some medication (anti-inflammatory or expectorant) to relieve my symptoms. He told me "there are no such medications". That itself is condescending. I have had medications like that in the past that helps relieving sinus symptoms. He told me no such medications and insisted I go for surgery. The cost for the surgery is estimated to be more than RM10k in total but he kept telling me I need surgery instead of prescribing me medications. I told him I cannot afford that surgery. Is Tung Shin in need of money that bad? Or IS Dr. Michael a money minded doctor? Just so you know doctor, I got my medications from another ENT. I hope Tung Shin Hospital will review you.

The doctor name DR MICHAEL HERG ( CONSULTANT EAR NOSE THROAT HEAD & NECK SURGEON)have bad attitude! He act like he own the hospital! He dont know how to treat patients! We no come there for free,so please change your attitude! You have no right to shout at patients! I will not come back to this this hospital anymore because of this worse doctor!
