I'm writing this review because the customer care was not able to provide a proper justification to our dissapointing experience with this hospital. We would discourage anyone from visiting this hospital. While we understand that doctors are busy, but this Dr Radhakrishna Sothiratnam's consultations were rushed to an extent that left us feeling uncertain and unsupported. On the few occasions he visited my wife, he spent less than two minutes with her. My first conversation with him, he was rude and had an attitude too. If he is so busy and strapped for time, maybe reduce the patients he's handling? In addition, we were not informed about the results of her dengue tests. My wife had to personally inquire to find out they were negative, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. To our surprise, at 5am, despite my wife still having a fever and a lingering bitter taste in her mouth, the doctor advised she could be discharged. The hospital even mentioned that she should return if the fever persists. If that’s the case, why was she discharged prematurely? Does the hospital require more beds to admit more customers? Even the discharge process itself felt rushed as well, with details overlooked, such as the wristband not even being removed. What’s more frustrating is the inconsistency in diagnoses. First, we were told she had may have viral fever, then we were informed by a nurse that it might be due to an infection in her lungs, and in the morning Dr Radhakrishna mentioned anemia. This lack of clarity has left us feeling confused and worried. Friends who are doctors were able to offer more comprehensive insights after reviewing her blood test report than the information we received from Dr Radhakrishna. Customer care could only revert back to us saying that the patient was discharged based on the Dr Radha's judgement. However justified that may be, i personally feel we are admitted to a hospital to feel better, not leave while still feeling not much less than how i felt before. If that's the case, may as well go for outpatient. DISSAPOINTING. Want to improve? Make it mandatory to ensure the patient or guardian is fully aware of their diagnosis and it should be shared by the Dr in charge. If the Dr can't spend time? Then reduce their patients, hire more with the money you take from us. The Dr can't lose their attitude? Then their unfit for the role!
