Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Faizal Ahmad is a distinguished Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, Reproductive Medicine, and Oncofertility specialist at UKM Specialist Centre (UKMSC). A pioneer in oncofertility, he initiated these vital services at HCTM UKM in 2019, offering fertility preservation for cancer survivors. With a Fellowship in Oncofertility from Japan and expertise in In-vitro Maturation (IVM) and Ovarian Tissue Cryopreservation (OTC), he leads advancements in complex fertility cases, achieving over 80% success in assisted reproductive techniques. His extensive research, with over 72 publications, and leadership roles in the Asian and Malaysian Societies of Fertility Preservation underscore his commitment to reproductive health.
