Dr. Yap, with his extensive experience, did not insist on chemotherapy or targeted therapy, understanding that such treatments might affect the quality of life in his remaining days. We understand the side effects of chemotherapy and are prepared to consider it should the cancer progress further. We are thankful for Dr. Yap's thorough professional guidance in this regard, and for his clear and comprehensive communication with the patient and family before considering any chemotherapy options. This approach not only reflects their professional integrity, but also their commitment to patient-centered care, prioritizing my father's dignity and comfort over potential financial gains for the hospital.
