We had a great OnG Doctor to assist the labour. She is very thorough and wise. She gave sounds advice to each of our concern. The nurses team at the labor room were very professional and dedicated as well. We had a bit of unpleasant experience in the maternity ward. This is our first child. We were met with nurses with bad communication skill and tempered attitude. At first, they failed to inform that my wife actually need to walk a bit after induced despite Doctor advised to stay on bed. (Meaning should walk after a while of induction). Secondly, we call and informed that contractions already started 2 hours already around 6pm(they did not come to check, so we informed), but they only noted. I call nurses again around 8pm because my wife was in pain. They called midwife to check the opening but the midwife really spoke in tense mode. This is my wife first delivery, meaning that she does not know how to act during the painful check. Instead she spoke like scolding my wife for reacting to her check. She can just educate not spoke like that. Just let us know what to do. The way matenity ward acted seems a bit rush like they did not expect the opening. Then my wife was brough to labour room immediately as the opening was quite significant. I wonder what will happen if we did not call them then. After all the delivery finished, my wife was brought back to maternity room. Another unpleasant experience occured during the breastfeeding session when the first nurse came and try to teach the bf rushly but failed. She then said she will call other nurse to come but first requested me to sign the acknowledgement that the breastfeeding already taught. I regretted signing the acknowledgement because no one came after that. We have to call the nurse after 20min and ask for someone. Other nurse came but similar things happened, they said will call other nurses but no one came. At this point, I take this as something like stalling us and treating us like a toys. Then they said we will be given a cotton to clean my wife wound but we were given none. When I asked, the nurse ask me to pick by myself from another room. So all this really are something that we never expected from a private hospital. We chose to deliver at KPJ for a reason. It was a shame that Dr Siti Esah and her labour room team has done the best but the maternity ward delivered us home with upsetting experience. I would not recommend KPJ if you are having first baby here. The stress was unnecessary on top of the nervousness of the first experience. 3rd Aug.

I've given birth twice with Dr. Datin Paduka Siti Esah. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly. The nurses were professional, and all arrangements were handled smoothly and calmly. God willing, I will give birth to my third child with Dr. Siti again.

Praise be to God, thank you. 11/1/2024 successfully gave birth to my fourth child (a boy) via cesarean section with Dr. Datin Paduka Siti. Why C-section? Because the previous 3 children were also born via C-section. So this is the last C-section and the doctor advised to have a tubal ligation immediately as the uterus is as thin as tissue. Alhamdulillah, my husband and I really enjoyed our 3-day, 2-night stay here. All the doctors were very kind. All the nurses were kind. They reminded me in the OT room to recite salawat and istighfar before, during, and after the OT. My husband was allowed to enter the OT. Thank you to the nurses in ward 2B for taking such good care of me and the baby. This is the best experience in delivering my baby. Received a free car seat. And the nurses celebrated the baby and the room beautifully. Thank you so much. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to give birth here.

The service from the staff here is very disappointing, starting from the GL counter all the way to the clinic assistants (Please treat patients better, don't speak rudely). Fortunately, the Doctor is good. Thank you Dr. Datin Paduka Siti Esah. Credit to her.
