I walked into SSH on 29/10/24 at 9.30PM and was promptly attended by ER team. Gynea on call, Dr Vishal was notified on my admission, and he was very fast in examine me and ran the necessary tests. He explained my condition and the course of action. I was advised for admission. The paperwork for insurance processing took place very fast and by 11PM, I was sent to Ward Melur. In the ward, I was attended by HA Esther and SN Priya (hope I didn’t get their name wrong) They were very caring and sweet. Appreciate their warm care and attention. Overall, the nursing care was amazing. Since I was supposed to start fasting at 2AM, they served me with light refreshment. On the next day, I was taken to OT for I&D procedure. Prior to that, the Aneas, Dr Indra explained on the procedure thoroughly. To Dr Vishal, thank you for your prompt service and warm approach. It could be a simple procedure for the Dr or for anyone else, but not for me who have major trauma of OT. I’ve been consulting a same Gynea for the past 15 years since I have trust issue with Drs. For the first time, I consulted Dr Vishal and I have no regret. I’m glad I found another great Gynea. Post procedure, Dr Vishal came at approximately 12noon, explained on the procedure done and discharged me straight away. Left the ward at 3.30PM. Ok, now let’s move to room for improvement. >> Discharge process can be better. I was informed that discharge process can take at least 4-5 hours and upon receiving of Final Guarantee Letter. Ideally, the management can collect a minimum deposit and discharge the patient. Behind the scenes, the team liaise with the insurance company for FGL. Any uncovered charges to notify the patient and collect separately. Just my 2 cents. Nevertheless, the care was outstanding all the way from start to finish. Absolutely IMPRESSED!
