Dr Chua Hwa Sen

Dr. Chua Hwa Sen is a highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Sunway Medical Centre, specializing in Arthroplasty and Robotic Surgery. With over 15 years of experience, his expertise includes adult hip and knee joint reconstruction and revision surgery, pelvic and acetabulum trauma management, and shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery. He is also proficient in computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery (CAOS) and minimally invasive osteosynthesis (MIO). Dr. Chua has impressive international training, including a Master in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Malaya, an Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Accredited Fellowship in Adult Hip & Knee Reconstruction and Arthroplasty in Brisbane, Australia, and a Fellowship in Pelvis & Acetabulum Trauma and Hip Reconstruction in Bern, Switzerland. He was the first single surgeon in Malaysia to perform 100 cases of robotic-assisted joint replacements. He is registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and the National Specialist Register.
