Dr Chan Yee Fai

Dr. Chan Yee Fai is a highly qualified psychiatrist at Sunway Medical Centre, specializing in both general psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. He earned his MBBS and MPM (Master of Psychological Medicine) from the University of Malaya and completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry in New Zealand. Dr. Chan's clinical focus includes a wide range of mental health conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, schizophrenia, and dementia. He is experienced in procedures like Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). He was also the Head of the Development Group for the Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Management of Dementia (3rd Edition) from 2018-2020 and won the Excellent Staff Award for Queen Elizabeth Hospital (2016). He speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
