Dr Alexander Tan Tong Boon

Dr. Alexander Tan Tong Boon is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Internal Medicine physician at Sunway Medical Centre in Malaysia. He is a highly qualified specialist with extensive training and experience in the field of endocrinology and diabetes. He graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2001 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP-UK) in 2005. He completed his subspecialty endocrinology training in 2010, and was made Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) of Edinburgh in 2016. His clinical focuses include Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Thyroid, Adrenal, and Pituitary Diseases. He is experienced with procedures such as insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring. He is also fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Cantonese. He previously served as the head of the Diabetes Care Unit at the University of Malaya Medical Centre.
