This was the second time my wife received treatment at Aurelius Hospital Pahang (AHP). She was admitted electively for an OGDS (Oesophago-Gastro-Duodenoscopy) procedure. She had undergone the same procedure about 10 years ago at another private hospital in Kuantan, so naturally we had some concerns. However, this experience at AHP was completely different — smooth, reassuring, and highly professional from start to finish. She arrived at the scope room at 8.00 am. After the nurses completed her vital signs monitoring, Dr Majid (Anaesthetist) clearly explained the sedation before administering it. She was then positioned lying on her side. The only thing she remembered was hearing the beeping sound of the cardiac monitor and wondering when the procedure would begin. When she looked at the wall clock, it was already 8.30 am, and to our surprise, the procedure had already been completed. She described the experience as a deep, comfortable sleep and woke up with no pain at all. As a husband, I was truly relieved and impressed by the care she received. I can confidently say that patients are in very safe hands if they choose AHP for OGDS or colonoscopy. Special thanks to the Customer Service Officers — Mr Zubir, Mr Fahmi, and Ms Izzaty — for their excellent assistance prior to admission. Our sincere appreciation to Dr Azlida Che ’Aun (Gastroenterologist), Dr Majid, all the nurses and Nursing Assistants, and the DNA team — Faiz and Fahmi. Excellent service by Doc Dr. Abdul Razak and the staff were very good, especially the male staff member who wore glasses and greeted guests at the beginning... very helpful. Comfortable atmosphere. The best!
