I give birth here for my 4th baby with Dr Nila last year. The experience with the hospital staff are very nice. The best part is the fees are really reasonable. I have compared with all the other hospital and HSB is the best. Even the room is bigger and I can see a nice mountain view from my room. I recommended this hospital.very calm. Not chaos. Ample parking.

From the very first clinic visit, operation and until her discharge from the ward, Dr. Nilawati was thorough, compassionate, and always attentive to our concerns. She took the time to explain everything clearly, provided reassurance throughout the process, and ensured my mother was comfortable and well taken care of. Dr Nilawati (from Obstetrics & Gynaecology) is a very good doctor, dedicated towards her profession and always cares her patients.A patient can freely interact with her, gives sufficient time to the patient to express their health issues. The way she handles the patient is very much impressive. She recommends surgery only when it is really required. And she made me feel calm during the surgery. In additional I would like to thank you all the caring and friendly nurse and staff who take care of me during this journey!!

✨ A Truly Memorable and Smooth Delivery Experience with Dr. Nilawati ✨ I had an amazing experience with Dr. Nilawati at Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh and feel incredibly grateful for the care I received throughout my delivery journey. Here’s my story: It was my 39 weeks and 5 days check-up — little did I know, it would be my last! I walked in around 12pm feeling fine, and Dr. Nilawati greeted me with her usual cheerful energy: “Hey Pavitra, still energetic? Any pain?” I replied, “Just mild cramps.” She smiled and asked if we should wait longer, but I mentioned I felt reduced baby movement. She responded calmly, “That might be because there’s not enough space left inside. Let’s check.” To my surprise — I was already 3cm dilated! She gently asked if I brought my hospital bag because it was time to admit. I rushed home, grabbed my luggage, and was admitted by 2:30pm. Everything after that moved like a dream. I was taken to the labour room, given my gown, and a branula was inserted (completely painless!). Soon, Pitocin was started, and Dr. Nila came in to rupture my water bag. The epidural was also done quickly and comfortably by the anaesthesiologist. After 2 hours, I was 5cm dilated and the pain was still bearable — but within seconds, it intensified. I called the midwife, and boom — fully dilated! At 6:30pm, the active labour kicked in, and by 6:57pm, I delivered my beautiful baby boy! Dr. Nilawati was not only skilled and professional, but also incredibly supportive and encouraging during every step. The midwives were kind and attentive, and Dr. Wong (Paediatrician) also played a big role in making sure my baby was well taken care of, gently explaining everything in detail. I would confidently rate my experience 100/100. I highly recommend Dr. Nilawati and her amazing team for their exceptional care, warmth, and professionalism. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my delivery so smooth and beautiful and for the lovely gifts. 💖
