I recently underwent sinus surgery and had to be admitted to the ward twice due to complications. Throughout the whole experience, Dr. Tan shee ni was incredibly caring, attentive and thorough. When I suddenly had severe bleeding and had to be admitted through the Emergency Department and ICU, Dr. Tan made sure the necessary procedure was done that same night instead of waiting until the next day. You can really see how much she cares about her patients and how dedicated she is to her work. I’m truly grateful to Dr. Tan for taking such good care of me until I recovered. She is genuinely a very kind, friendly and excellent doctor who always makes her patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. Her assistant, Akak Pika, is also wonderful. She is very friendly, responsive, attentive and always willing to help. She handles everything carefully and professionally, and I really appreciate how much effort she puts into making sure everything is taken care of properly. As for my time in the ward, most of the nurses who took care of me were very kind, gentle and caring. However, the experience could sometimes feel different depending on the shift. I really hope the same level of kindness, patience and care can be maintained consistently, because patients are there because they are unwell and going through a difficult time. A little kindness and understanding from the staff can make a big difference. Overall, I’m very thankful to Dr. Tan, Akak Pika and the team for taking care of me throughout my treatment. ❤️

Dr Shah reassured me that he would do his very best—and he truly did.
