The lpoh Eye Specialist Centre was founded by a group of professional ophthalmologists with over 30 years of combined experience in ophthalmology field. There were all qualified ophthalmologists and have practiced in different hospitals before branching out to set up the private practice. Since its inception in 2010, this private establishment has performed over 20,000 surgeries for patients throughout Malaysia. It is located in a 3-storey building right in the heart of Ipoh city which is incidentally also one of the largest cities in Malaysia. We continuously strive to deliver excellent visual results and supreme care for our patients in a friendly and comfortably secure environment. Both my parents had their cataract surgery done under the good care of Dr. Shin. From the very first consultation, Dr. Shin was incredibly professional, thorough, and patient in explaining the IOL options and the entire procedure.The clinic staff were friendly and efficient. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had my SILK surgery done yesterday by Dr. Chan Suet Mei after hearing many positive reviews from my family, and I’m very glad I chose her. Before the surgery, I was feeling quite nervous, especially after watching operation videos and reading post-op experiences on Reddit. However, Dr. Chan Suet Mei was incredibly reassuring and did a great job calming my nerves. She took the time to explain the procedure clearly and in detail, and shared her knowledge in a way that made me feel much more comfortable and confident. During the surgery, her instructions were very clear and concise, which helped me know exactly what to do throughout the procedure. She also showed the utmost care and attention, constantly ensuring that I was comfortable and experienced little to no discomfort. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Dr. Chan Suet Mei and would highly recommend her to anyone considering SILK surgery.
