This was our child’s vaccination follow-up, and once again we had a great experience. I was suffering from severe back pain caused by my knee condition, so I visited Dr. Bernard Devadasan, an orthopaedic specialist at Sg. Long Hospital. From examining my gait, feet, and knee, he was able to quickly identify the underlying issue. After reviewing my X-rays, he explained the severity of my condition and recommended a total knee replacement. In April 2026, I underwent the surgery, which was a great success. Throughout my hospital stay, Dr. Bernard was very attentive and visited me regularly in the ward to monitor my recovery. Now, three months after the surgery, my knee has fully recovered. The most important part of the recovery process was diligently following the physiotherapy program and consistently performing the stretching exercises recommended by the hospital’s therapists.
