Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 (DSH2)

I found out I was expecting mid year 2024 but only decided to continue my check up at KPJ Damansara 2. A friend of my husband recommended that I see Dr Imelda. Heard she’s hard to get but alhamdulillah we managed to get our 1st appointment with her via KPJ website..super convenient! Whilst Dr Imelda seemed like the ‘speaking her mind’ type on socmed (so in my head could be the no nonsense and garang type, haha!), she is the gentlest, most understanding & comforting obgyn considering I was feeling a bit down from the diagnosis that I am in fact a high risk patient. She is indeed passionate with her job and gives clear reasons why certain things happen and how to overcome challenges in my case. I made the right decision choosing her as my doctor and love her loads! Dr Imelda also has a great team, which I believe contributing to coming for check up appointments not daunting, as they are knowledgeable but super friendly front desk team. I feel so welcomed to be there by Aini Afiqah, Azrene & Mira. Chatting with them felt like we’ve known each other for a long time. Azrene loved giving treats to my daughter, so even my daughter is excited to come over for check ups 😊 The only down side is the wait can be really long most of the time..I’m talking about 3 hours! But I understand this as Dr Imelda is one of the most sought after obgyn particularly for her specialisation in preterm prevention plus with occasional emergency cases. So if you’re interested to engage with Dr Imelda, I’m setting this expectations on you. But don’t worry, it’s all worth it!

Thank you Dr. Masri and Dr. Imelda for the very satisfactory service. The doctors greatly assisted us from the beginning of the childbirth process until our child was safely delivered. We also received jaundice treatment at DSH2, and thankfully, everything went smoothly and was made easy.
