Dr Aaron and Dr Hng is the Best!!!

Island Hospital Penang has State of the Art medical treatment and facilities. Most staff from admin to medical nurses are friendly, courteous and caring. Special mention to Dr. Aaron Lim for his expertise and you will be assured that you are in good hands. The security staffs should be trained in terms of detailed explanation regarding procedure for Free Parking Coupon. They just tell patient to show the complimentary parking coupon to the staff at the exit for a parking fee waiver. Since it was my first time encountering this I just drove strait to the exit and showed the security staff my free parking coupon and was told to get it endorsed by the staff at the post which was very far behind, therefore, I have to reverse back and stopped by the side, got down and let the staff endorsed the coupon in order to exit. This staff was very rude and in a very loud tone said that I'm blocking other cars which it wasn't the case as cars could still pass through to exit. I than said that the other security staff did not mention that I have to endorsed the coupon at the post on the way out which I didn't know there was one. I hope whoever is in charge of customer review to please brief the security staffs on this in order to be on par with the Service Excellence of Island Hospital.

Have to give a big thumbs up for the doc and nurses here! For time like this i got injured and needed surgery, and Dr Aaron knows what he is doing, so happy i got him take care of my surgery. Nurses are all so nice and so helpful. Food here is seriously good too. They gave me 6 meals a day! Gained little weight from that😅. But so far this is great hospital!

Great service. Did a left knee ACL repair under Mr Aaron. Caring doctor that will check on u before and after surgery. Amazing nurses (SN Suhana & SN Kayathri) which is very attentive to your needs in wards. The physiotherapy dept is packed with in patient n outpatient people so can’t expect a one-to-one session. However, physiotherapist Tan Lun Wei did a good job in getting me walking again on day 4 post surgery. The food served in ward is very healthy. Discharge procedure was very slow. Waited almost 1.5hours to finally step out of the hospital.

I would like to show my deepest gratitude towards Dr Aaron and the nurses that took care of me on the 7th floor. They were very patient with me and was very caring. Again I would like to to thank Dr Aaron and the nurses for their much appreciated care.
