I was admitted to the ward from May 18 - 21, 2026. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Lung Specialist Dr. Nurul Yaqeen Mohd Esa and Internal Medicine & RA Consultant Dr. Diana Ang Lee Min, who took meticulous care of me with great concern.
Dr. Diana explained my health condition in great detail and patiently clarified all the test reports. I have never encountered a doctor who took so much time and was so thorough in explaining a patient's health condition as Dr. Diana.
Millions of thanks to the nurses on duty in Ward 8C: Danielle, Catherine, Miss Goh, Margaret, and Nasuha. They were very polite, courteous, and efficient in attending to patients.
Millions of thanks to Amira Huda, who managed my admission in a very friendly and efficient manner. Many thanks to Mr. Aizuddin in the Emergency department, who was very courteous, attentive, and efficient. He was very helpful in escorting me from the Emergency department to my ward, even though it was outside his usual duties.
Thank you to the physiotherapy team, Farah, Nurin, and Wei En, who were very friendly and patient while demonstrating breathing exercises to senior citizens like myself.
Thank you to the support staff, Aiman and Mohd Akbar, patient attendants who pushed the wheelchair slowly and without rushing. Thank you to Ainur, who changed the bedsheets very politely and efficiently.
Last year, I was admitted to several private hospitals multiple times. I would like to mention here that Sunway Medical Velocity is very fast and efficient in conducting tests to diagnose patients thoroughly and quickly. I did not have to wait long, and the doctors saw patients immediately after the test results were out, even at night.
Also, I did not have to wait long during the discharge process, unlike some private hospitals I have been to before. One area to improve: hire more patient attendants so that patients in wheelchairs do not have to wait long.
