During Zill Qayyim’s stay at the ward and PICU, there were moments that truly made a difference to us as parents. When your child is unwell, you carry a heavy heart every day. But the care, kindness, and dedication shown by the team at Sunway Medical Centre really eased our worries and made this journey less painful. Dr. Gan, Dr. Shona, and Dr. Norzila were always patient in explaining Zill’s condition to us. They answered our questions with so much empathy and made sure we understood every step of his treatment. Their calm approach gave us confidence and trust during a time of uncertainty. The nurses, too, were gentle and loving with Zill. Even when he was not feeling his best, they tried their best to comfort him—whether by giving him a small smile, talking to him softly, or just holding his hand during procedures. Those small gestures meant the world to us. We went through moments we never thought we would face, but the support from the doctors and nurses exceeded our expectations. They didn’t just treat Zill as a patient; they treated him like their own precious child. That made all the difference. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone involved in Zill’s care. Thank you specially to dr chye, sn ward 5D and dr Shona for looking after my son when he was admitted. Dr Shona surgical skill is fantastic and my son recovered well. Also, he loves to see the robot at lobby and 5D as well. This small gimmick manage to trick my son to come to hospital willingly.

I’m so pleased by the prompt action at Children’s Emergency. From the moment I arrived, the staffs were so attentive, compassionate in helping my son. Special thanks for Dr Shona & Dr Ong SY and their teams for their exceptional care. Their professionalism made me feel comfortable. The nursing staff also deserves recognition for their kindness and attentiveness as well, they checked in regularly every two hours.
