A Heartfelt Thank You to Assunta Hospital Recently, I was admitted to Assunta Hospital for bronchitis and stayed in the Mariam Ward. My experience was a pleasant one, thanks to the wonderful care provided by the staff. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team who attended to me, particularly Sister Carol and Sister Mirabel. Their compassionate and attentive care truly made my stay more comfortable and memorable. I also appreciate the efforts of the other staff members, who, despite a shortage of manpower, went above and beyond to meet my needs. A special note of thanks goes to Physio Sheila, who worked tirelessly to improve my symptoms through her intensive chest physiotherapy. Her skillful hands and genuine passion for her work made a significant difference in my recovery. Although the process of clearing my phlegm was unpleasant, Sheila remained supportive and calm, never showing any negativity. Her comforting words and positive attitude inspired me and lifted my spirits during my stay. I sincerely hope her dedication and uplifting spirit reach many more patients in need of care. I would also like to extend my gratitude to my doctors, Dr. Kuppu (Respiratory Specialist) and Dr. They (Consultant Physician). Their expertise and effective treatment plans have helped me regain my health and return to my daily routine. I am deeply appreciative of their efforts and the care they provided. Additionally, I am thankful for the pastoral care service offered by Ms. Clara and Ms. Gloria. Their visits to the ward allowed me to share my thoughts and feelings, bringing a sense of emotional relief. While the doctors and nurses focused on my physical recovery, their prayers and kindness provided much-needed hope and comfort. One area where the hospital could improve is communication. I experienced some challenges during my admission process, including instances where information from admissions or doctors was not effectively conveyed to the nursing staff. Perhaps the staff was too busy to manage everything seamlessly. This led to moments of confusion for patients like me. I strongly recommend that the hospital management prioritize clear communication and ensure that patients are informed of any policy changes in advance to avoid misunderstandings. Despite this, I wholeheartedly give Assunta Hospital a 5-star review. The quality of care and dedication shown by the team have been instrumental in my recovery, and I am truly grateful to be back to my usual self. Have tremendous care by Assunta Team from Mawar ward. They continue delivery their best service in any hour when we seek they help. As for my Drs, Dato Dr Suresh & Dr Kuppu, I'm truly blessed to be in great hand with this Specialist. Constant care & follow up despite their busy schedule really boost my health better. Not mention my Physio-Ms Susilla & Ms Jasmine for their daily physio & guidance. Overall no regrets with their hospitality ❤️❤️

My father was admitted to Assunta Hospital for a week and stayed in the Melor ward. During his stay, he was attended to by Dr. Chin Kin Fah, Dato Sri Dr. Suresh, and Dr. Kuppusamy. We are incredibly grateful for the excellent care provided by these doctors, especially Dr. Chin, who willingly attended to my father even during the Chinese New Year holiday. Their humility and friendliness made a significant difference in my father’s recovery journey. The staff nurses in the Melor ward were also exceptionally helpful and friendly, providing excellent care to all patients and visitors.
