I’ve suffered from skin issue from late May 2023 which was initially diagnosed as fungus and then to heatiness and then to hives and there wasn’t any firm diagnosis. I went to local GP first but there wasn’t any cure and I requested for specialist and was referred to Sunway initially. After 3 sessions there I realized nothing was really working for me then as all they can provide after taking blood test (thyroid was fine, hormones also fine, blood also fine, allergic was slightly high 179/1000) was to give me antihistamines and steroid creams to apply. Fast forward to late Dec, I decided to switch specialist and came to Dr Ch’ng Chin Chwen and she explained in detailed that my skin condition is known as acute spontaneous urticaria + eczema. To be cured completely it takes roughly 2 years. What triggers it is always unknown unless there’s something that changes in my environment or product that I’m using (which I did not change anything - stickler for good old brands). With this explanation, she also proceeded to listen to the diagnosis that I had from all the other doctors I had seen and what medications worked best for me. From there she tailored and asked me to focus on taking the one that worked best and she also prescribed Elomet cream and ointment for the eczema spots. Lo and behold (it could be the timing of the breakout is almost over), my skin gradually started improving after consistently taking the right medication dosage and applying the cream whenever necessary. Fast forward to now in early Feb 2024, all the bumpy skin along my fingers and hands, my body areas are almost cleared up. Urticaria has also been completely healed. I believe this has partially to do with having the right doctor, right dosage of meds, and also perhps the cycle to this itchiness is almost over. But overall I’d suggest people with skin issues to have an appointment with her. She is a patient and a doctor who gives explanation - you can always ask her questions she won’t shut you out unlike some specialists I have encountered. Cheers to Dr Ch’ng and team! Kudos!

Gandhimadhi is very helpful and efficient. The discharge process is very smooth and she provides a lot of information as well :) Also, the nurses here are very nice, caring and helpful👍 not to forget about the Dr too! Dr Ch'ng is very friendly and informative. She knows what she is doing and provides informative information about my problem. Thank you Dr and all the nurses in Ward 4. Keep up the good work ❤️

Recently visited for in-patient treatment. This time around, a new experience where Staff Ms. Gandhimadhi assisted for discharge procedure. Explaining well in the patient's room instead of we walking to the Discharge Counter. Great initiative by her. (Ms Gandhimadhi's photo added) Bravo SJMC Subang Jaya! ================================ The overall visitation was a great experience here. Every Staff member that I've encountered, from the Valet to the Clinic to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Special thanks for Dr Ch'ng Chin Chwen and her Team. Namely Ms. Jeyamani, Ms. Medona, Ms. Kavitha and Ms. Devi (based at Counter 6, Lvl 3 at Mediplex) Not forgetting Nurses from Level 4A based at South Tower for their brilliant support. The Staff were very hospitable and always there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. Highly recommended to those seeking for the best "healing" place.

First time visit SJMC, both Doctor Ch’ng ( Dermatology) and Ms Ng Vi Voon (Admission Counter) is very friendly and helpful.
