Went for a minor surgery in June and overall, was very satisfied with the hospital from the time I was admitted to the post-hospitalization care. Kudos to Dr. Balan (from Urology) for the quick diagnosis and seamless surgery performed. Kudos also to the attentive nurses from Block B (level 5) who made my stay there very pleasant. And a very special mention to Zabedah and Fuziah from the Stoma & Wound Care Clinic who have been meticulous and patient in treating my wound post-hospitalization. Thank you to all.

Overall good experience at Hospital Pantai KL. I had cystectomy surgery done by Dr Paul Ng, Dr Balan and Dr Lim last week. The nurse, Dila at HDU was superb, taking care of me during emergency hours and the nurses at maternity ward level 3 block C (Maria, Emie, Angeline, Nadiah and etc) were very kind and attentive, always checking up on me at the ward. The only dissatifaction is the slow billing counters and discharging process took about 4 hours to complete and I had to go down the billing counter by myself (in pain post operation) without any staff helping.

Firstly, during my initial call to Dr. Ambikai Balan Sothinathan’s clinic at Pantai Hospital, to fix an appointment was hassle free and my request for an appointment for the same day, was immediately acceded to by both the staff nurses, namely, Cik Fatihah & Cik Shafal, whom, both, were very courteous and helpful. Dr.Ambikai Balan, an experienced consultant urologist, duly examined me and immediately suggested the next course of action, without any further delay. Dr. Ambikai took time and patiently explained to me the underlying causes of my symptoms and thereafter, presented me with options. Dr. Ambikai. In conclusion, staff nurses, Cik Fatihah & Cik Shafal as well as Dr. Ambikai Balan, were exemplary in discharging their respective duties in the most professional manner. I would most certainly recommend anyone for urology related issues to consult Dr. Ambikai.

I recently underwent surgery performed by Dr. Balan at the Urology Clinic, PHKL and the procedure was carried out with great success. The hospital conditions were outstanding — the patient ward, the rooms, and the healthcare staff who continuously provided attentive and proper care were all excellent.
