My son was admitted to Aurelius Hospital, Alor Setar under the care of Dr. Ammar, on 29th May 2025 after injuring his left index finger. From the moment we arrived, we were met with efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care. We want to give our special thanks to Dr. Chong Wei Nian and all the staffs in the Emergency Department, who handled my son with great compassion and speed. Dr. Ammar, Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology Consultant, for his prompt and clear guidance throughout. His explanations regarding my son condition and procedure that he will performed was very clear and easy to understand. The admission and insurance process, managed by Ms. Hashitoh, was smooth, and the surgery was carried out the same evening. As for the OT side, Dr. Lim Wei Keong (Anaesthesiology) explained everything clearly and allowed me to accompany my son into the OT until the sedation effect works, together with the warm and cheerful team helped ease his fears. Thanks OT team! My son was admitted to the Paeds Ward. Earlier, despite a difficult branula insertion, Dr. Rahmah and the Paediatric Ward staff remained kind and patient handling my son’s violent behavior. Post-op, Dr. Ammar checked on my son immediately—he recovered well with no pain. Discharge was smooth, with Dr. Ammar personally handling the wound dressing and aftercare instructions. Billing and Pharmacy staff also very efficient with their job. We are truly grateful for the outstanding care and compassion from everyone involved. The hospitality, facility and the efficiency also very satisfied. Thank you for making a stressful experience so much easier. Keep up the excellent work!

A little sharing of 3 days and 2 nights getting services at Aurelius Hospital for MRI and x-ray for knee injuries. Alhamdulillah, the presence was warmly greeted by the male staff at the car door carrying a wheelchair, straight to the screening counter by the friendly female staff, pushed into the room of Doctor Ummi who was very gentle. The session of telling the history and cause of the knee injury, the doctor recommended doing an MRI and x-ray examination. Choosing Doctor Ammar Muizzuddin bin Manas is the right choice for knee injury treatment. Why do I say that? 1. Early Thursday morning, 19/12/2024, Dr. Ammar visited my bed to provide a detailed explanation of the MRI and x-ray results. From my understanding, he said, I experienced: (i) ACL tear (ii) Meniscus tear (iii) The position of the knee bone is slightly stretched, but not serious 2. Good at controlling my emotions to accept the fact of the injury, by explaining the treatment steps that need to be taken. Yes, it is undeniable, I, a PJK teacher, who wants to contribute to the Pendang district in Netball, also an Aerobics Instructor, feel very sad to receive the result of this injury. I have to leave all my interests...automatically, my tears fall in front of Dr. Ammar, but calmly, Dr. Ammar persuades me to take another method for the time being. 3. Dr. Ammar's very customer-friendly service. During the treatment, I got an injection to remove the blood from the source of swelling and replace the gel into the knee joint, Alhamdulillah I was able to control the pain thanks to his expertise in handling the process. Overall, I am very grateful to Aurelius Hospital Mergong in general, to Dr. Ammar Muizzuddin bin Manas in particular for the BEST service since I first stepped foot in the hospital until I was discharged. ALL the staff are very customer-friendly, including cleaners, food delivery, housekeeping, nurses and others that I have not mentioned. This is my 3rd time admitting to this hospital...from knee gel injection, emergency & major operation...Very satisfied with the service of all the docs & staff who are very trained espx the latest treatment with Dato Dr Suresh (still maintain 4 ever The Best Very Doc who is Genius & work smart!), Dr Ammar Muzizuddin who is helpful & smart too! Mr Khairul Fiso who is very trained & patient, never stops praying & praying from his mouth to support me...👍, & all the Aurelius staff from where I registered to leave.👍👍👍 💕 You are very helpful, friendly & the best, like 1 family.. so happy with you all💖 The food is also delicious..& the accommodation is very comfortable & the facilities are sufficient & state-of-the-art! Thank you Dr Ammar for your skilful and compassionate treatment of my mum on 1/9/2025. Mum suffered fractured ankle, was done external fixator. Together with your nurse Hashitoh, we were able to follow up on WhatsApp with the caring and healing process of my mum’s ankle. 5 months down the track, my 95 year old mum can now walk. Your care and commitment truly make a difference.
