I have been here quite a few times. The reception service attitude and process have always satisfied me, and I often recommend people around me to try it here. However, something unpleasant happened this noon. I brought my father for a follow-up appointment to see Dr. Han in Urology, Clinic E3. We arrived early because we are from out of town, and it's difficult to estimate travel time, so we usually arrive early. The doctor was not in, and we didn't mind waiting. However, when my brother and father were speaking with the Indian receptionist at the counter inside the clinic, I could clearly hear her from the sofa outside, loudly questioning in an unfriendly and impatient tone why no one answered when she called us. She said she called many times with no answer. I thought she would just say it and let it go. However, she repeatedly questioned again why no one answered when she called. I could hear it clearly from outside. The mobile number she dialed was mine, so I walked directly into the clinic to ask her what was going on. She loudly repeated what she had said. Her attitude was very bad. I asked her how many times she had called. She said many times. I said only once, and if I didn't answer, why couldn't she call a few more times? She still insisted she called multiple times but I didn't answer. My anger flared up, and I sternly told her it was only once. I have the call log on my phone as evidence; it was only once. I asked her if she expected me to call back. She said yes. Is that reasonable? She only called once but lied about calling many times, and was loud towards my brother and father. If I receive many missed calls in a day, do I have to call each one back to ask what it's about? Am I that free? Do I have nothing else to do all day but hold my phone? Isn't calling patients part of her job? If she had complaints, she should have reported them to your management. Can she treat patient customers like this? If she had spoken nicely, I would have understood and could have made improvements. Seeing me angry, she then lowered her voice and claimed she didn't mean to blame me. Is she bullying the weak and fearing the strong? She was clearly blaming us. This kind of service attitude is unacceptable, and she has such an air of superiority. I have no issues with Dr. Han's diagnosis and treatment methods; they were helpful to my father and professional. However, the attitude of that receptionist is beyond praise. The Malay nurse at the counter for Dr. Goh in Clinic E1 provided excellent service; she was very kind and often helped us. I want to thank her.

Unsatisfied with the attitude of the staff. The doctors want to discharge their patients as fast as possible. The patient still has a tracheostomy and the doctor discharged him. When talking about the issue with other doctors they are confused and seem to never know what is going on anywhere. Mainly one of the doctor, Doctor Goh, neurologist keep saying he doesnt want to treat the patient, stating that there is no hope and pretty much tell us to abandon the patient (for your info, the patient is recovering and undergoing physio). Other nurse also will talk in front of the patient stating "oh the patient won't last long anyways".
