I was admitted to SMCI from 1st to 5th June 2026 due to shoulder dislocated . I would to Thank to all the ED staff, Dr. Ling, and all Ward 6C staff for the excellent care and support during my hospitalization. Special thanks to the ED team — Dr. Sieena, Nadia, Zaidi, and the other staff who were on duty during my arrival. I apologize for not knowing all of your names. Thank you for your kindness and for helping to reduce my pain and make me feel comfortable till end of the procedure. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the Ward 6C staff, especially Reshwin, Nurul Najiha, nadia , Hadirah, nazira -who was reinsert my PVL without any pain) , and 1 lovely PCA who helped tie my hair (I'm sorry I forgot your name), as well as all the PCA & staff nurse in that ward. You were all so helpful , loving and caring. 💖 Special thanks as well to the physiotherapist, Miss Chan. I had a fall and fractured my left wrist sometime in April 2025 and had operation done by an orthopaedic surgeon. Blade was inserted and screws were used to secure the blade. Unfortunately, complication arises 2 months later in June. I found that my thumb was drooping and l am unable to lift it up. By chance I met Dr. Kumaresh Raj in Sunway Medical Centre who recommended me to Dr. Chua Wei Siong, an orthopaedic surgeon, specialised in hand and microsurgery. My first consultation with Dr. Chua l found that he is most professional and possess good bedside manners. He really spent time to explain my conditions clearly and acted quickly. Ultra sound showed suspected ruptured tendon. He performed surgery with remarkable skill and confidence. His calmness, expertise and genuine dedication make me feel completely relaxed and safe throughout my treatment. Once again thank you Dr. Chua for your exceptional care and dedication. I'm so grateful for your expertise and kindness. Your compassion and professionalism are deeply appreciated. Your hard work and dedication will always be remembered. I will certainly recommend Dr. Chua to anyone who has hand issues without any doubt. I am now on the road to recovery. At the same time l convey My sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Chan See Yun, the anaesthetist who put me at ease as l had undergone general anaesthesia umpteen times. Her kind and reassurance approach made me feel relaxed. Thanks again Dr. Chan.

I would like to provide my utmost thanks to Dr Leow and the staff that cared for me during the stay. They are quite attentive to my needs. Admission process by Mr Afiq was smooth. I would like to compliment radiology staff Mr Afiq for the scan and the clear instructions given to me during my process. The ot staff, Dr Leow and Dr Chan for taking care of me during my operation. The nurses are very attentive to my needs and my medication are prepared quickly once dr Leow has clear me for discharge. I am pleasantly happy with the treatment here. Thank you.

Furthermore, the patient meal service was also excellent and very satisfactory. The food delivery successfully brightened the patients' spirits and improved their appetite. The menu provided was balanced, of high quality, and included fresh fruit dishes in the menu rotation. SunMed Café, on the other hand, offers a variety of attractive and appetizing menus in a comfortable, clean, and customer-friendly environment. Congratulations and well done to the F&B management for such excellent and commendable service.

My experience was elective surgery admission. From admission and pre-op investigations, in-patient stay, dining and reviews by the doctors until the discharge- everything was superb and efficient.
