Dr Lim Huay Cheen and Dr Ng Poh Nee had shown excellent concern and professional care for my parent who recently was admitted for surgery. They did a great job and my parent recovered very quickly, thanks especially to Dr Lim for his utmost professionalism. 5 stars for Dr Lim and Dr Ng. The 3 stars are due mainly to my gripe on the steep fees that the hospital charged, especially on medication which came up to thousands! As a layman, we are unable to compare prices of the meds given but a fine example was when we were double charged on consumable items which we could have easily bought at half the price at the minimart on the ground floor of Regency. We were not even allowed to reject the consumable even when we could have bought our own. The hospital also insisted on having an upfront deposit payment before admitting a patient, which I felt saving lives should be given priority. Other than the steep charges, the environment was clean and comfortable; and nurses and assisting staff were responsive and helpful.

Had a very good experience from the first time i came to Regency 7 years ago till now! Came to Gleaneagles to check my sister, was referred to one of the specialist Dr Lim Huay Cheen in Regency Hospital. My sister was a cancer patient at stage 3. He immediately arrange for operation the next day. Operation was a successful one n he became our doctor from that day till now. Eventhough my sister has a relapse of cancer a few years later and treat it at KL where she lives, she still consulted with Dr Lim and Dr Lim never failed to advise him again and again till now. From there on, I always have my yearly check ups at Regency. Whoever has serious health issue, I would also recommend them to go to Regency, instead of other private hospitals which already disappoint me again and again before when i brought my sister for checkups. They gave wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment!! I would strongly suggest anyone with serious health condition to go here. I live in Taman Suria and it’s quite far from here to Pasir Gudang. But i dont mind the daily travel just to get the best consultation and medicine from the best hospital in JB. Congrats Regency Team, you never disappoint me and family!
