⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Review of Dr. Leong Pooi Yee As a Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of experience managing mission-critical operations for banking systems, hyperscale data centres and other critical infrastructure, my work revolves around analysing complex problems, asking detailed questions and identifying root causes. Naturally, I apply the same level of scrutiny when choosing my doctors. For almost 20 years, I had been seeing another private hospital and never seriously considered changing. Several colleagues recommended Regency Medical Care Centre over the years, but I did not pay much attention until I became unwell earlier this year. Before making the appointment, I spent considerable time researching online reviews and reading about the clinic. After weighing everything carefully, I decided to visit Dr. Leong Pooi Yee in February 2026. From my very first consultation, I was genuinely impressed. I brought along years of medical records, including my annual health screening reports dating back to 2018 and my colonoscopy report. Rather than rushing through the consultation, Dr. Leong reviewed the information, asked insightful questions, and discussed my health concerns logically and thoroughly. She gave me the impression that she had genuinely read through my reports instead of simply glancing at them. What impressed me even more was that I never felt pressured into unnecessary tests, medications or treatments. Her recommendations were practical, evidence-based and always centred on what was genuinely best for me. At no point did I feel that she was trying to upsell services or recommend procedures that I did not need. That level of professionalism and integrity is something I value greatly. Another pleasant surprise was her accessibility. Not many doctors are willing to share their personal WhatsApp number with patients. Because my work requires frequent overseas travel, I often send messages late at night after returning from work. While I never expected immediate replies, Dr. Leong would usually respond first thing the next morning. Knowing that she genuinely cared enough to follow up gave me tremendous confidence and reassurance. Over the next five months, I continued to evaluate my experience objectively. Trust is something I do not give easily, especially when it comes to healthcare. Eventually, I decided to return to Dr. Leong to begin another important stage of my health journey. The words on her RMCC’s brochure, “Here to care for you,” perfectly describe my experience with Dr. Leong. She combines professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, sound medical judgment and, above all, genuine compassion for her patients. Because of the nature of my profession, I rarely make public recommendations. However, Dr. Leong is one of those rare professionals whom I can recommend. Took Signature+ for health screening. The process was good and had Dr Leong diagnosed my health condition with the report. She was patience in explaining and given some good advice on the next steps to approach my concern. Quick to arrange with other doctor on the same day to address my concern. She had also arranged a physiotherapist - Muhammad Shafiq Ghazali on the same day too. Had good experienced with him for a full 1+ hour and patiently listen and gave good advice on the types of physio to do at home too. As the operating hours end at 5pm, he finished my session till 6pm without any rush. Really appreciate for his patience and care. Dr Teo had also stayed throughout the session with me as he helped to ensure all patients are clear before leaving the medical center. Thanks to all staffs of Regency Medical care center in Mid valley and would definitely recommend my friends.

It is my pleasure to write a review for the excellent, speedy, professional and highly knowledgeable service that I recently received from Dr Leong at Regency Medical Care Centre in Mid-Valley. Dr Leong's expertise provided me with a clear understanding of my medical issue - from diagnosis to cause to remedy to further prevention.
