Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Shukrimi b. Awang is a distinguished Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialized focus on Paediatric Orthopaedics, practicing at Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Center (SASMEC@IIUM) and serving as a senior lecturer at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He previously headed the Department of Orthopaedics, Traumatology & Rehabilitation at IIUM. His unique expertise in paediatric orthopaedics was developed through specialized training under Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Sulaiman and Prof. James Hui at the National University Hospital, Singapore. Dr. Mohd Shukrimi actively contributes to teaching and research, with publications in paediatric orthopaedics and involvement in studies on bone cement and paediatric fractures. He is also a member of the National Conjoint Board of Orthopaedics.
