Saw Dr. Wong Jyi Lin, the doctor was thorough and friendly

Dr. Wong Jyi Lin is very professional and explained things very clearly.

Dr Wong in the Heart and Lung Clnic along with all the support staff were supportive, professional and efficient. It’s unfortunate to fall ill when first arriving in Sarawak but this medical center is top notch. Everyone spoke multiple languages and helped me every step of the way.

Little comments here regarding my experience visiting to BMC. Initially I was heading to the heart and lung clinic and looking for Dr. Wong J.L to get consultation from him due to my severe cough. But unfortunately when I reached there, doctor wasn’t in the clinic and the nurse asked me to wait until doctor to come. I’ve been waiting for 30mins but still didn’t seen Dr. Wong so I asked the nurse when is the doctor will be available, the nurse ask me continue to wait for another 30 mins. In the end I decided to proceed to emergency department instead due to those nurses weren’t sure when is the Dr. Wong J.L will be coming. At the emergency department, the medical officer in charge Dr. Louis Lau is very helpful. He checked my condition carefully and prescribed me proper medication to treat my flu and cough. I hope the specialist clinic can improve their efficiency so that patients no need to waited for so long or if doctor needed to perform surgery with other patient, they shall let us know at least we have preparation that we need to wait.
