My son was admitted here due to a lung infection. I give 5 stars to the emergency department, including the registration counter staff, the nurses who first checked my son, and Dr. Akmal and Dr. Faiz, who also took care of us. Later on, Dr. Wong Yee Ming, who was assigned to treat my son, came to the emergency room at night to take blood and diagnose him. Dr. Wong was kind, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He made us feel calm and took his time to explain everything to us without any rush. We are very thankful to him and pleased with his care. The food provided was great, and the people working at the Columbia Cafe were polite and amazing in making good, affordable food. The nurses who took care of us in the Level 5 wards were all kind and amazing. Thank you so much; Columbia Bukit Jalil will definitely be our choice if we ever need medical attention again.

I recently visited the Emergency Department following an accident and was extremely impressed by the prompt and professional care I received. Upon arrival, I was immediately attended to by PCAD Najib, SN Abraham, and SN Sakti Vina, who were efficient, compassionate, and attentive to my condition. Their swift response helped ease my anxiety during a very stressful time. Dr. Akmal conducted a thorough examination and clearly explained the next steps, which I greatly appreciated. The wound dressing was expertly handled by MA Nik, whose gentle and precise approach made the procedure much more comfortable. I’m truly grateful for the excellent care provided by the entire ED team. Thank you for your dedication and professionalism.

On July 15th, I brought my two children, aged 6 months and 4 years, to the emergency department due to high fever and one of them experiencing vomiting. My children were treated by Dr. Akmal, a medical officer on duty at the time. Blood samples and several tests were taken from my children to determine the cause of the viral or bacterial infection. After the results were out, Dr. Akmal explained clearly what steps I should take to treat both my children. Due to all beds being occupied and my children becoming weaker, we were advised to seek treatment at another hospital. Dr. Akmal made a concerted effort to help us find an empty bed by contacting several hospitals around KL and Selangor. Alhamdulillah, we were fortunate to find an empty bed. I then took my children for treatment at Columbia Hospital Petaling Jaya. Thank you, Dr. Akmal and the nurses on duty at that time.

There wasnt many crowd in the emergency. Thus my wife was treated immediately with care of the Supervisor Ms Low who brought my wife inside the bay and the ED team attended immediately. Very attentive Dr Malvin and Ms. Ranveer and also Ms. Alia who set my wife's IV line. And there was a frequent check by the other 2 male nurse which i could not get their names. Kudos to them who made us feel welcome and confortable despike my wife was having spike fever.
