Thank you DR Kalsom and DR Sekappan who performed my hiatus hernia surgery on 20/1/25.... Originally a bad cough...DR Azida ENT referred me to the Surgeon....After the scop...I was confirmed to have a grade IV hiatus hernia...after 3 weeks of MC I was confirmed to be healthy and able to work... Alhamdulillah thank you to all the staff involved at KPJ Johor. Highly recommend very good service

i brought my child to Dr Kalsom, a general surgeon in JSH. She was extremely good in examining, explaining options and planning the operation for my child. i would like to also commend the clinic nurse Rafidah who was efficient and polite. overall a fantastic experience

My experience with Dr. Kalsom & Nurse Rafidah was good in terms of treating my gastric issues for multiple visits in the past year. Dr. Kalsom is knowledgeable & her personality is fun & kinda tough-love because she cares for my wellbeing. In terms of improvement, I didn’t have a smooth experience when I was applying for a new insurance policy & had to do a blood test at the hospital. From my understanding, I would just need to go the lab to get my blood drawn & the blood test would be charge directly to insurance company & not me. In my experience w the hospital, I had to meet multiple staffs from Lab, Inpatient Admissions, Reception & Cashier, another lab among the clinics at Level 2, Accounts staff who all don’t seem to be aware of how to guide me to get my blood drawn & the payment done by the insurance company, so I ended up paying first for the blood test & going around to pass documents of the matter. It did feel like I was just a courier for documents to be sent from 1 department to another. I’m assuming not many patients had to do this, hence why most staff seemed unfamiliar with the process. Apart from that, getting treated by Dr. Kalsom & arranging other matters with Nurse Rafidah is fine & I do recommend for other who have gastrointestinal issues to visit them.

Thank you to Dr Sekappan & Dr Kalsom for the successful surgery on my sister (hiatus hernia grade IV). Now my sister can eat and seems to be growing healthily, keep it up❤️ Highly recommended

I visited Dr. Kalsom on a friend’s recommendation. Initially, I was a bit skeptical since the clinic seemed empty, and I wondered if she was not very popular. However, I had multiple concerns that I wanted checked, so I decided to go ahead. From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease. Dr. Kalsom was amazing—she made me feel comfortable, addressed all my concerns, and was incredibly friendly, well-spoken, and kind. I honestly wish more doctors were like her! A special mention to the nurse as well—she was just as wonderful, polite, and helpful. Together, these two make an incredible team. Truly a fantastic experience!
